“Tangled” earned $69 million over the long holiday weekend. That’s the second-best Thanksgiving opening of all time . . . (–Behind the $80 million opening of “Toy Story 2″.) . . . but it wasn’t enough to knock Harry Potter from the top of the box office.

–“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” made another $76 million over the 5-day Thanksgiving weekend, to beat “Tangled” by about $7 million.

We here at Krackblog were really rooting for The Rock’s new movie Faster. We much prefer to see him with a pistol kicking ass vs playing borderline homos and tooth fairies. No hate just keeping it trill.

–Meanwhile, CHRISTINA AGUILERA and CHER‘S “Burlesque” came in at #4 with just over $17 million. Here are the Top 10 movies . . .

1.) “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1″, $76.3 million (–Up to $220 million in its 2nd week.)

2.) (NEW) Disney’s “Tangled”, $69 million

3.) “Megamind”, $17.6 million (–Up to $130 million in its 4th week.)

4.) (NEW) Christina Aguilera’s “Burlesque”, $17.2 million

5.) Denzel’s “Unstoppable”, $16.2 million (–Up to $60.7 million in its 3rd week.)

6.) (NEW) Anne Hathaway’s “Love and Other Drugs”, $14 million

7.) (NEW) The Rock’s “Faster”, $12.2 million

9.) Russell Crowe’s prison break flick “The Next Three Days”, $6.6 million (–Up to $14.6 million in its 2nd week.)

People had mixed reviews on the new Nightmare on Elm Street remake. (I liked it) The key to enjoying remakes is to LET GO OF THE ORIGINAL! It’s a new movie, a spin on a old classic. Some people hold on to the past too tight. With this new movie you get more back story on Freddy and the kills were way more superior than the original. With that being said, “Nightmare” is the new #1 movie in the country. Haters get the gasface!
