The Blueprint 3 Outtakes: Deepspace5 Version
Deepspace5 is the future. 10 members strong. Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop.
On Thursday, September 17th, just over a week ago, a couple of the DS5 emcees ran across a guerilla style free release by a very talented up and coming producer named Alex Goose. You can learn more about Alex and his work at his website: alexgoose.com. You can download his release by visiting theblueprint3outtakes.com
With a fierce work ethic and a very small amount of time on their hands, 5 members of Deepspace5 decided to record and release, free to the world, their interpretations, their rhymes over these tracks. The views and concepts in this free mixtape release do not reflect the views of Alex Goose.
If you like what you hear, Deepspace5 has two albums available through itunes.com as well as their entire catalog through BandCamp.com. The crew also has a third studio full length album recorded and mixed, and are poised to make their next move.
We hope you enjoy what we’ve done with these tracks for this mixtape. We’re sure that other artists will release similar mixtapes to this one in the weeks to come. But this, party people, is the Blueprint 3 Outtakes…Deepspace5 Version.

JAY-Z IS UPSET AS SCALPERS RESELL TICKETS TO HIS BENEFIT SHOW FOR PROFIT

Tomorrow is the eighth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks . . . and JAY-Z will be performing a benefit at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Proceeds from the show will go to the families of cops and firefighters who died that day.
Well, the show is SOLD OUT. That’s the good news. The bad news is that scalpers scooped up some of the tickets, and are reselling them for a ridiculous profit.
Jay-Z said he intentionally kept the ticket price low . . . at $54.50 per ticket . . . to keep the event accessible to fans that have been hit hard by the economic crisis.
But some tickets have been showing up on resale sites for $200 to $3,000 each. The “New York Daily News” even says one site had them listed at $45,000 each. (???)
Naturally, Jay-Z is NOT happy about this. He released a statement saying . . . quote, “We are truly disheartened that certain individuals would choose to benefit from what is meant to be a 100% charitable event.
“We do not support any profits made from reselling any ticket that was meant to be purchased by honest fans.”
The treasurer of the Police and Fire Widows’ and Children’s Benefit Fund, John Neary, said, quote, “[It's] a shame. But I don’t think we can do anything about it. This happens with an awful lot of shows.”
The concert will also air live on Fuse.

JAY-Z’S BLUEPRINT 3 WILL ARRIVE IN STORES EARLIER THAN EXPECTED

Billboard reports, Jay-Z’s “The Blueprint 3″ becomes the latest album release to shuffle its release date, according to date changes on Amazon.com, Rhapsody.com and WEA’s distribution Web site.
The Roc Nation set, originally scheduled for release on Sept. 11, has been pushed forward to Sept. 8. The title was intended to drop on Sept. 11, on the eighth anniversary of the first “Blueprint’s” release. The pushed-up date is likely due to the album leaking to the Internet almost two weeks before its release.
“Due to popular demand Jay-Z’s new album, The Blueprint 3, releasing early,” Jay’s publicist confirmed via Twitter. “Available at rhapsody.com tomorrow 12pm(pst), in stores 9/8.” Amazon.com also reflects the new date.
Jay-Z’s former label Def Jam will also release The Blueprint Collector’s Edition, consisting of the original Blueprint and The Blueprint 2: The Gift & The Curse, on the same day.

DRAKE GIVES THE REAL DEAL ON JAY-Z’S NEW SINGLE

In early June when the news first broke, Drake would appear on the first single of Jay-Z’s much-anticipated album ‘The Blueprint 3′.
But Jay’s official single ‘Run This Town’ features Rihanna and Kanye West. Drake says the following, “I don’t know who came up with that rumor to be honest, but I always knew what Jay’s first single was going to be.
Me and Jay did a lot of work together. Maybe at one point he was considering doing it and someone got over-excited and put out a press release that I was going to be on the first single.
“I think Jay made a great choice,” he says. “I think the ‘Run This Town’ song is phenomenal. I think Kanye kills that s—. I actually heard that song when it was a Rihanna track.”
