The Man who slapped Jimmy Henchman’s Son: Found Murdered in NYC

Lowell Fletcher, a G-Unit associate who also went by the name Lodi Mack, was murdered on Sunday, September 27 and police are investigating the connection between his death and 50 Cent’s rivals.
According to New York’s Daily News, Fletcher, who just made parole two weeks before his death, plead guilty to hitting The Game’s manager, Jimmy Rosemond’s 14-year-old son back in 2007. Cops also say that Fletcher flashed a gun at the boy. G-Unit member Tony Yayo was the original suspect in the assault.
After pleading guilty in the case, Fletcher was sentenced to nine months behind bars to run concurrently with an already existing two-and-a-half-year sentence for drug possession.
Reportedly a member of both the Bloods and Tony Yayo’s crew, Fletcher was killed at 9:30 p.m. on Jerome Ave. in the Bronx. Police believe he was ambushed by several men.
Yayo twittered “R.I.P. Lodi Mack. Gone But Not Forgotten”a day after the shooting, but he later deleted the message.
Despite the investigations, many belive it could have just been the neighborhood’s bad reputation. “On Jerome Ave., it could be lots of reasons – or no reason,” a source told the paper.
As of press time a rep neither a rep for Rosemond nor Yayo have made any comments to the media about the murder.
DR. DRE IS NOW HOPING TO HAVE “DETOX” OUT ….NEXT YEAR!

DR. DRE has updated us on the status of his long-awaited album, “Detox” . . . and there’s STILL no date for its release.
He told ABC News, quote, “Hopefully, I’ll get it done at the end of this year, and we can hear it next year.”
Around this time last year, 50 CENT warned us to be prepared for the, quote, “three-headed monster”, which would be new albums by him, Eminem and Dre.
He said that all the albums would be coming out THIS year, and added, quote, “It’s a story actually . . . ‘Before I Self Destruct’, I’ll ‘Relapse’, then ‘Detox’.”
Well, Eminem released “Relapse” back in May . . . and has a sequel, “Relapse 2″, coming out before the end of the year. Although it doesn’t have a release date.
50’s “Before I Self-Destruct” is also up in the air . . . and I’m not sure I would even bet on “Detox” coming out anytime NEXT year.
So much for the “three-headed monster,” right?!!
Fab Continues to Clarify 50 Cent Dig
![]()
Fabolous is still trying to rectify himself after the 50 Cent dig that wasn’t supposed to be a dig. He posted a question to followers regarding 50 Cent’s show in New York over the weekend that featured up and coming NY artists. He asked, “It’s interesting to c 50 Cent unite wit NY artists when he’s 1 of the reasons NY hip hop became so isolated & crumbled..Do u agree NY??” Fiddy posted on his website that reading Fab’s post was “disappointing,” as 50 reached out to him to join the New York show. Fabolous responded Wednesday and tried to explain that he wasn’t making a dig. Well, he’s added to the groveling with more posts. “Def wasnt hatin. I said if anything it was a good show 4 NY.. And i was invited 2 perform too, BUT i had my own show 2 do at Lincoln U,” he said, adding later, “I actually tip my hat 2 50 4 all he has done, but n his help 2 the city theres been some hurt 2 the city.. & i dont/didnt blame him entirely.” Someone’s gonna have to explain himself a little better … or else just drop the whole thing altogether.
WAS 50 CENT’S FEELING’S HURT BY FAB’S TWEETS?

Fab took issue with the ‘unity’ premise of Saturday’s ThisIs50 Music Festival.
Music Festival, during which the G-Unit united with some of their past foes, such as D-Block and the Diplomats.
“It’s interesting to see 50 Cent unite with NY artists when he’s one of the reasons NY hip hop became so isolated & crumbled.. Do u agree NY??” Fab said in his first tweet.
He followed up, pondering, “I wonder if this is a law in the ‘50th Law of Power’ book? I guess it was a good show for New York.. But if you asked 50 a few years ago if he ever saw himself on stage with any of them, he would’ve said HELL NO!”
In another set of tweets, Fab made it clear his intention was not to dis 50, but to think aloud. “At 50’s peak, his grind was unmatched, image was bulletproof, music was ignorantly motivational & catchy, even classic. Most never have that. … So don’t think I’m takin’ shots at 50.. Just that NY show had me a lil’ puzzled.. But I love NY so I couldn’t knock it if I wanted to.”
50 responded via his ThisIs50.com Web site, and he didn’t take too kindly to Loso’s words.
“Reading what Fab said about me on Twitter was disappointing,” he said in a statement. “I have extended myself to Fab personally to allow him to expand himself as an international touring artist. I thought we were friends, but that’s cool.”
