‘The Best Man’ Sequel Slated for November 2013

We were all geeked in 1999 when the hit romantic comedy “The Best Man” came out. We can say that this movie is a classic and our minds even went to thinking what if there was more. Well after a couple of years our minds went to rest. Malcom D. Lee says he is ready to get the cast back together to work on the sequel.

The release date is slated for November 2013. Their isn’t much info on the cast yet but rumors are the original cast will back. A synopsis is not given on the movie but Lee will write, direct, and produce with Sean Daniel (The Mummyseries).

I am excited about seeing the sequel but we all know sequels to romantic comedies usually go straight to DVD. Please don’t do a classic movie like that. I am definitely interested in the route Lee will take this time.

100dBs & Ryan-O’Neil “Wait A Minute” feat. DJ Far East

In the summer of 2007, producer 100dBs and emcee Ryan-O’Neil came together to create one of the dopest Hip-Hop albums in recent years, The Adventures of the One Hand Bandit & the Slum Computer Wizard. Fast forward 5 years later and the duo are destined to repeat greatness with their sophomore album Tea & Spliffs on November 27th.

The album’s first single, “Wait A Minute” is a rallying cry about staying true to self and avoiding the latest trends over a vicious bassline as DJ Far East slices and dices the infamous Chuck D line. And as bonus there is the Curtis Mayfield sample anthem, “Power For The People” another example of the dopeness these cats bring to the table
