A woman murders three people in the middle of her own exorcism, and gets locked up for the rest of her life.  A Brazilian minx named Fernanda Andrade plays her daughter, who asks some exorcists to take another shot at removing the four demons that have possessed her mom.

Dennis Quaid plays a mortician who terrorizes a group of high school students after they catch him DANCING WITH A CORPSE.  He kills one of them that first night, but the cops don’t believe their story so he’s free to go after the rest. 

–One of the kids is played by Aimee Teegarden, who you might recognize as the coach’s daughter Julie on “Friday Night Lights”.

This movie can’t drop fast enough

A new trailer for “Men in Black 3″ has hit the web. In this one, WILL SMITH goes back in time and hooks up with a younger version of TOMMY LEE JONES’ character . . . played by JOSH BROLIN.

There’s a new trailer for “Paranormal Activity 3″, and this one makes it pretty obvious that subtlety is completely OUT THE WINDOW.

–If you follow the franchise, then this will probably mean something to you: The movie takes place in 1988, 18 years before the first two . . . back when Katie and Kristi were kids. The movie comes out October 21st.

The trailer for “Battleship” hit the web yesterday, and as expected, it really doesn’t seem connected to the game it’s based on . . . except for the fact that it involves some Naval ships.

–The enemy in this one isn’t an opposing Navy . . . it’s ALIENS.

–If you think about it, the only thing they could really do to invoke memories of the game . . . besides the inclusion of a fleet of ships . . . is to have someone yell, “You sank my battleship!”

If you seen the early screenings for Transformers 3 you got treated to the trailer for the new Mission Impossible flick. This one looks good to go.

There’s a remake of the ’70s flick “Straw Dogs” hitting theaters on September 16th. It stars JAMES MARSDEN and KATE BOSWORTH as a couple who relocate from California to her hometown in the South.

–There, they run afoul of some locals, including ALEXANDER SKARSGARD, and things escalate . . . big time.

The trailer for the “Planet of the Apes” prequel, “Rise of the Planet of the Apes”, hit the web yesterday.  This new film gives the backstory on how the Apes rose to  power. I’m kinda amped about this one.
