Here’s the latest DMX insanity: On Friday night, DMX was supposed to perform a gig in Colorado Springs . . . but it ended in a RIOT. And that’s not the crazy part.

–The concert . . . which featured other lesser-known artists . . . was benefiting American Charities, a local non-profit emergency food pantry and clothing center. Yeah, this was essentially a CHARITY show.

–It started going south when DMX arrived LATE. He was told to be there by 9:30 P.M., but he didn’t show until 11:00 P.M. By that point, the promoters thought he wasn’t coming, and had already told the crowd his show was cancelled.

–Security at the door told him to leave. But when he didn’t, they threatened to have him arrested if he entered the venue. He pushed past them . . . allegedly saying, quote, “[Arrest me] for what?! You ain’t no police! I’ve been paid to perform.”

–DMX headed for the stage. But before he got there, he was tackled by several security guards. Then it escalated when X’s entourage . . . as well as fans from crowd . . . joined in the scuffle.

–DMX’s publicist, Pam Pinnock, reportedly suffered a minor concussion and a laceration to her face when she was trampled by the mob. Eventually, DMX reached the stage, but when he got there the sound system had already been shut off.
