The new “Ice Age” movie pulled in $42.5 million over the weekend, which should be good enough to make it the new #1 movie at the box office.

Except for the fact that early estimates also have “Transformers” pulling in an identical amount, so it could really go either way.

Meanwhile, JOHNNY DEPP’S John Dillinger movie, “Public Enemies”, came in a distant third, with $26.2 million.

5.) “The Hangover”, $10.4 million (–Up to a total of $204 million in its 5th week.)
